I am okay at texturing and materials, with work done in blender and now substance painter.
I starting taking photos and learning to design these textures around October of 2023.
Early Blender Texture work:
I have been practicing and experimenting with 3D modeling in blender since early 2022. ( Made my first blender Donut in March of that year. ) I would consider myself intermediate as I know my way around almost all of Blender's menus, however I still struggle greatly when it comes to organic shapes like humans, animals, and nature. Setting up the textures and UV's for that stuff is even harder.
I have made over two hundred separate props for my games, consisting of multiple tables, chairs, doors, pipes, electrical panels, desks, shipping crates, signs, bottles, cups, sinks, tabletops, kitchen appliances and more. I would describe these props as flexible for any art style, before 2024 I used to make lower poly/simplier models although in late 2024 I switched to focusing on higher poly models.
I would say I still have a lot to learn about topology and making photo-realistic models.
3D animation is something I'm okay at but hoping to get better.
"Graphic design is my passion."
So far I have made every marketing graphic myself. It works.
I am at the point in which I don't need to use tutorials for most things. I can fully code an enemy AI, simple state machine, weapon code, inventory system, crafting system, etc with mostly my own skills and tools
